Kimia Attar, DDS, MSc
Dr. Attar earned her DDS and MSc in Prosthodontics from Iran and is Board Certified in Prosthodontics. She was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the Azad University in Tehran since 2008. She has been providing prosthodontic care to patients in private practice since 2006. In 2016 she moved to the United States and enrolled and attended in Advanced Clinical training in Restorative Dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry. After 2 years of intensive training at that program under the Directorship of Dr. Richard Stevenson, she graduated and received a Certificate from UCLA in Advanced Clinical Training in Restorative Dentistry. During her UCLA training she was honored with the "Stevenson Eagle Award of Excellence", as the top resident in the 2 year program. Then, she got her dental license in California and started working in California at a Federally Qualified Health Center, performing all services to her patients. She has significant experience and expertise in Implant dentistry, crowns and bridges, Cast Gold Restorations, dentures and partial dentures, and digital dentistry including Photography and CAD/CAM dentistry.
Her international organization memberships include the Academy of Operative Dentistry, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Santa Barbara Dental Society, and the International Academy of Esthetics. She is widely regarded as a gifted teacher and dedicated clinician.
Natalia
Registered Dental Hygienist
Natalia is a graduate of the Oxnard Dental Hygiene Program and was born and raised in Ventura. Natalia is bilingual in Spanish and English and is our Registered Dental Hygienist in Carpinteria Smiles. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her Australian shepherd, Ember.
Alondra
Dental Assistant
Alondra is a Dental assistant who graduated in 2017 from Career Care Institute. She has experience working in both Oral Surgery and General Dentistry. She is married and has a 7-year-old boy. In her free time, she loves photography, creative projects, baking, and spending time with her family. She mostly loves giving back and helping put a smile on people's faces.
Karen
Registered Dental Hygienist
Karen is an Ojai native and received her dental hygiene degree from Oxnard City College. She is married with two daughters and is our Registered Dental Hygienist every Tuesdays and every other Thursday. She has been in our office since 2008.
Kathy
Dental Assistant
Our Dental Assistant and Patient Coordinator, Kathy, is a native Carpinterian and a graduate of Carpinteria High School. Kathy began working with us while in high school and over the years came back to help during breaks from school. She has been with us full time since 2004 and has received additional training to assist us in the clinical area.
Kathy is bilingual in English and Spanish, (including complex dental terminology), and welcomes your questions and always advocates for your needs.
